Overview

This policy aligns with our Corporate Privacy Commitment and our commitment to Regulatory Compliance and Ethical Conduct. We prioritize the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personal Information (PI) as defined under HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR.

How we categorize cookies

  • Strictly necessary (always active): Essential for secure login, “Terms and Conditions” acknowledgement, and system security. These do not track PHI.
  • Regulatory & compliance cookies: Ensure that users in specific jurisdictions (e.g., Canada or the EU) receive the correct legal disclosures in accordance with PIPEDA or GDPR.
  • Health AI & analytics: In line with our Consumer Bill of Rights for Health AI, we use de-identified analytics to improve our diagnostic tools and platform performance. We do not sell this data to third parties.
  • Functional cookies: Remember your preferences (such as language or accessibility settings) to provide a seamless user experience.

Data protection & PHI

In accordance with our Corporate Data Privacy and PHI Policy, we do not use advertising or tracking cookies to collect or store identifiable health information. Any data processed via cookies is handled with the same level of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards required by our HIPAA Privacy Practices Statement.

Your rights

Under our Consumer Bill of Rights for Health AI and global privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the data collected about your session.
  • Request deletion of non-essential data.
  • Opt out of automated decision-making processes.
